Description

Quick, delicious, and quintessentially Hawaiian, poke (POH keh) is diced raw* fish that's served as an appetizer or as a meal with rice and toppings. The kit comes with ahi tuna pre-cut in half-inch cubes, a packet of our own Hawaiian poke seasoning, and a recipe card with easy instructions. Known also as yellowfin, our ahi tuna comes from artisanal Indonesian fishery in the Western Central Pacific Ocean and meets rigorous standards for resource management, human rights, and working conditions. Unlike other ahi tuna sold in the U.S., which is typically exposed to synthetic carbon monoxide (CO) gas to preserve its natural color, our supplier's cutting-edge technology uses natural hickory woodchips to preserve color and taste while enhancing food safety and extending shelf-life once thawed.
